When using IncomeXpert within Encompass Partner Connect, it’s important to be aware of a known system limitation in Encompass: the eFolder becomes inaccessible when the Services tab is active. This can cause frustration when trying to review income documentation alongside your automated or manual income calculations.
To work around this, you can temporarily launch your loan in Encompass Web View, which allows you to access the eFolder independently—while continuing your income review in the desktop version of Encompass using IncomeXpert. This approach enables a side-by-side workflow until a more integrated solution is released.
